Fixed-speed synchronous motors that are required to start asynchronously require additional switching devices on the rotor to allow the induced field currents to flow safely without damaging any of the components.
Our Rosenberry Starting Hub can be supplied and fitted on a new plant or retrofitted to existing machines where components have become obsolete or where existing design is troublesome.
The Split Rosenberry Hub option is also available designed for mid-shaft mounting where there is insufficient space for conventional solutions.
