Global technology company Meyer Burger has received an order from Moscow-based solar company Hevel for its high-end equipment, with an estimated total planned production capacity of nearly 160MW.
The $22.7m order from Hevel wil see the installation of Meyer Burger equipment and technologies for its entire photovoltaic (PV) value chain. Meyer Burger will deliver high-end systems for the qualification of crystalline solar wafers, coating and performance measurement of Heterojunction cells, and SmartWire Connection Technology (SWCT) for connecting cells.
