The project generates 433GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 65,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $177.693m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Genesis Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2021. The contracted capacity is 133.3MW.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 31 units of SWT130 – 4.3MW turbines, each with 4.3MW nameplate capacity.

Waverley Wind Farm is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
