The project was developed by Pattern Energy Group and Renewable Energy Systems Canada. The project is currently owned by Pattern Energy Group with a stake of 51%.

The project generates 465,686MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 28,000 households, offsetting 424,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $275m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hydro-Quebec under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.063kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2018. The contracted capacity is 147.2MW.

Contractors Involved

Renewable Energy Systems Canada was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 46 units of SWT-3.2-113 turbines, each with 3.2MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 2 years.

The wind power project consists of 92.5m high towers supplied by Marmen.
