The project was developed by Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.2%, 39.2% and 20% respectively.

The project generates 260,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 157,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $196m.

The project has 78m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

Aptiv and Hsbc Casa De Bolsa are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of G97-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Dominica Energia Limpia S.de R.L. de is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
