Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.6% in April 2022, and a 38.4% drop over March 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 13.82% in April 2022, and registered a decline of 32%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 13.82% in April 2022, a 41.67% rise from March 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Schneider Electric
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 50.41% share, which marked a 19.48% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 42.28%, registering a 38.1% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.32% share and a 57.14% drop over March 2022.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 46.34% share in April 2022, a 12.31% decline over March 2022. US featured next with a 39.02% share, down 40.74% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 3.25% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.6%, down by 23% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.2% share, a decline of 41.51% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.2% share, down 53.13% over March 2022.
