Elmeridge were pleased to further extend their international customer base to Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Dubai, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Turkey, USA, Poland, Singapore, Ukraine, Vietnam and South Korea.
Throughout the year Elmeridge have worked on a number of special composite cables, including umbilicals, incorporating screened and unscreened twisted data pairs, triples, quads, and nylon vent tubes, as well as coaxes, fibre optics, power conductors, strength members (Kevlar/Vectran/Aramid/GFRP rods), steel wire armour (Galvanised Improved Plow Steel, SAE 316L steel, in single or multiple layers) and braiding, with a range of outer sheath materials to suit various environments and applications.
Earth braids and lugs (pictured below) have done exceptionally well throughout 2024. Our product range includes flat, concentric, tubular and square, in bare copper, tinned copper and aluminium. We can supply any of these types with an outer sheath of translucent PVC or silicone, and all braids can be pre-terminated with a range of lugs in multiple types and sizes as required. This year’s market for cable stockings, in both galvanised steel and PVC-coated Kevlar, has been very strong again. See our full range here.
Lead times for MV and HV cables remain competitive, delivery approximately 16 weeks from order. Our lead times for LV cables are even more impressive, with delivery times of between 8 and 12 weeks.

Our production team have produced various CTD (Conductivity, Temperature & Depth) cables in different specifications and quantities to the maximum single length of 10,000 metres.
The team has also been particularly busy throughout the year supplying many of the ERF (Energy Recovery Facility) waste management sites across the country.
Elmeridge continues to supply companies that work in the underground pipe inspection sector with our GFRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer) rod cable that is one of the strongest in the market today, and exclusively supplied by Elmeridge.
Marine Cat5e cable remains a great seller. Cat5e and Cat6 in PUR sheath in different colours (Black, Blue and Yellow) available from stock.
We also continued to expand our customer base in the MV and HV sector, with a number of projects throughout 2024; 33kV and 132kV cables were the most popular sizes.
