HOTLAB 2023 is the 59th edition of the annual meeting on Hot Laboratories and remote handling. It is hosted by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The first meeting was held in Cadarache, France, in 1963. Since then the purpose of the annual meeting has been to share experience and know-how and start collaboration in all aspects of nuclear R&D. This meeting is intended for technicians, operators, engineers, researchers, suppliers and managers working at and for nuclear R&D facilities – hot cells.
