London, May 2013: After a gap of nearly two years, European Technology Development’s (ETD) is returning to London with its two-day (9-10 May) International Seminar on New Materials (P91, P92, P23, P24, Ni-based alloys and new stainless steels etc). The seminar will focus on industry issues and related R&D findings.
Companies such as E.On, EDF, Electrabel, TransAlta and those from Japan have either already offered or are in the process of offering presentations.
The seminar will be preceded by a two-day (7-8 May) Training Course on the issue of P91 and P92 use in power plants and other issues such as heat treatment, welding, quality checks, steam oxidation, inspection, integrity and life assessment.
Japan, Dec. 2013: The three-day ‘HIDA 6’ Conference is being held in Nagasaki, Japan on 3-5 December and will cover the theme of Crack Assessment and Failures in High Temperature Plants.
