Wind turbine rotor-blade inspection and repair
At the centre of every wind turbine are its rotor blades and they can only perform if they are in the best condition. Our inspections are carried out using the rope-access method and the resulting findings will form the basis of specific repair recommendations in a report which will be supplied to you.
Any repairs that are needed and authorised by you will be performed using our platform technology, as these can be placed precisely at the damage point, and it is possible to work on damage of up to 2.5m² in size.
Insurance companies usually insist on an inspection of the blades every two years and we would recommend that this is carried out, as it is in the operator’s interest to maximise the output to prevent unnecessary stoppages and failures.

Rope-access rotor-blade repair technology
Rope-access technology is derived from alpine rock and mountain climbing and ensures fast and cost-effective inspection methods. Our findings form the basis for specific repair recommendations, which will be fully documented and sent to you together with photographic evidence showing the damage that needs attending to. All of our employees are qualified as rope-access specialists.
Platforms for wind-turbine repair
Repairs are carried out using platform access. The platform can be placed precisely at the point of damage. The platform encloses the rotor blade without touching it or applying any pressure or tension. It ensures a safe and convenient working situation around the whole blade.
