Blow-off silencers are used for a variety of applications. In this field of industry, a pressure relief valve is installed into the piping system, which, after opening, can create the highest possible noise levels. For blow-off silencers, a standard silencer solution is almost never possible due to the noise data, pressure, often special media and temperatures.
Clients vary from large chemical multinationals, air treatment companies to world-leading compressor manufacturers. For one of the latterly mentioned companies, we supply two DN200 waste gas blow-off silencers by the end of August. Not that big but anyhow special with a final destination somewhere around the core science facility in the New Foundland memorial university. Cool stuff!
