We have recently had the honour to inspect the silencers of a 1997 road mobile bulk unloader. Despite the heavy-duty industrial circumstances and the high number of operational hours, the silencers still looked superb after 20 years operation.
A typical unloader set contains a compressor inlet / outlet silencer, a vacuum pump inlet and outlet silencer, pre-inlet silencers, and, if diesel-powered, some exhaust gas silencers.
