HIMOINSA has released a new fleet manager device with C2Cloud technology, geolocation and anti-theft alerts.
Specifically designed for the rental and telecommunication sectors, the product allows generator sets to be remotely monitored 24 hours a day from any device with Internet connection.
It gives access to all the data generated by the control units and can monitor the status of a whole fleet in real-time. A mobile phone can be used to start or stop the genset, change its operating mode, or read and write the control unit configuration parameters.
The device allows the operator to manage up to 15 generator sets controlled by Himoinsa or DSE control units and, in order to reduce the number of trips needed, the system automatically estimates the dates on which each genset needs to be refuelled and helps to plan the maintenance schedule.
Anti-theft alert system
By incorporating global GPS positioning and accelerometry technology, the fleet manager is able to locate the devices and detect their movement even when they are switched off. After it has been programmed, it sends an SMS message indicating a possible theft and the exact location of the genset, even blocking it if necessary.
The product offers competitive advantages, including the possibility of gaining access to performace statistics and reports generated in CSV format from a computer or mobile phone.
