Kato Engineering will hold its GenSchool in Mankato, MN, US, 28-30 September 2015.
Training modules will include basic and advanced power generation, alternator sizing and testing, controls, mechanical, design, options and certifications, troubleshooting, maintenance and failure analysis. The course kicks off with a meet-and-greet session and an introduction to Kato Engineering on Monday evening.
The sessions will be presented by several Kato Engineering engineers and sales staff. To better understand components and options of alternators, the school includes a plant tour. Plans are to have a consulting engineer as a guest speaker and a round-table discussion, both on Wednesday afternoon. There will also be an advanced controls section on Tuesday afternoon and an advanced electrical section on Wednesday afternoon, which are optional to attend. The course is good for 1.5 continuing education units.
