Joining of IER and GTS allows both companies to enter new markets, further strengthening their positions in the global market and drive added value for the end-customer.
International Energy Resources, one of the UAE’s largest integrated, independent, supplier and distributor of GE Heavy Industrial and Siemens SGT Core Engines / Capital Spare Parts, is delighted to announce that it has entered an exclusive agreement with Gas Turbine Services, having acquired a significant shareholding in the Anglo/Danish ‘HKJ Group’.
From its inception in 2001, International Energy Resources has adopted a flexible, proactive response to meeting its customers’ requirements both in the heavy and light industrial gas turbine business.
Every product and service has been managed and supplied to meet the very high standards demanded by the Energy Industry.
Larry Howie, International Energy Resource Chairman & CEO, will join the Board of HKJ Group.
Completion was finalised at the end of June 2016.
Gas Turbine Services is the largest independent supplier of Siemens SGT Gas Turbine Engine cores, overhauls, spare parts and site services in Scandinavia / Northern Europe and are very excited at the potential future growth this agreement will bring.
Since forming back in 1985, Gas Turbine Services (previously Hans Kjellerup A/S) has specialised in the provision of high-quality, cost-effective aftermarket service support for the Siemens SGT fleet throughout Scandinavia, the Baltic region, and Northern Europe.
Through this strategic alignment of two major players in Gas Turbine Servicing and Support, we can now focus our efforts on providing our quality and proven cost-saving approach to the global marketplace.
