VJIKKS ENGG POWER (M) SDN BHD, a growing one stop engineering solutions provider, has successfully won another major tender from Malaysia’s TNB (a government linked utility company).
This tender is for retrofitting which involves removal of old CP system and also for design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System (ICCP) for Three Units of Sea Water Intake Structure in its coal fired power plants (3 x 700MW) located in Manjung, Perak, Northern Part of Malaysia.
The ICCP system covers two channels for each unit (700MW) which consists of stop gates, bar screens and band screens and its supporting guides.
Despite stiff competition from many other reputed CP system suppliers, VJIKKS ENGG POWER could win the tender mainly due to their innovative solution at a competitive price. The innovative solution was not only to design and supply the system as requested in the tender, but also to add value to that design by introducing unique features which would help customer in great extent when it comes to maintenance of the new system.
Such value added features could be proposed by VJIKKS ENGG POWER due to its strong and widely experienced team of personnel with hands on experience in operation and maintenance of various power plant equipment and system.
