Aggreko LLC, the world’s leading supplier of temporary power and temperature control solutions, is once again providing large-scale power generation and temperature control for professional American football’s championship game on Sunday, February 3rd at the University of Phoenix Stadium
Following months of planning and preparation, Aggreko will be responsible for powering everything from lighting and video during the spectacular halftime performance to stadium security, and providing power and temperature control to the domestic and international media compounds that are broadcasting the event worldwide to more than 800 million viewers in 220 countries.

An event of this magnitude requires an enormous amount of time and equipment. For the halftime show, media compounds and other related venues, Aggreko¡¦s network of service centers will provide:
- 8MW of Aggreko generators and power distribution that will produce enough electricity to power 2,500 mid-sized homes
- 200 tons of heating/cooling
- 95 distribution boards and 35 transformers
- 200,000 feet of cable (650 football fields long)
- A crew of 12 dedicated Aggreko employees for the installation and operation of the event
Aggreko’s experienced crew began the lengthy process of installing the complex array of equipment more than a month prior to the game. The dismantling is expected to take another two weeks once the final whistle blows.
Aggreko has a long history of providing power to high-profile events, including presidential inaugurations, the Olympic Games and the Daytona 500 NASCAR race.
