Turbo Power Systems (TPS) will be at the Low Carbon Networks and Innovation Conference (LCNI) 2017, between 6-7 December, at stand A01.
Why visit TPS Stand A01?
You will have the opportunity to see and learn more about our award-winning converters designed for smart grid reinforcement, and also discuss your specific requirements with our esteemed engineers in smart grids.
We are delighted to be displaying our Dual and Tri-Terminal converters that facilitate the creation of Soft Open Points (SOPs) on the Distribution Network with the purpose of capacity sharing. These power electronic devices are making use of spare network capacity at existing substations to enable distributed generation and low-carbon technologies.
Our Dual and Tri-Terminal converters were awarded the ‘Best Electricity Network Improvement’ at the Energy Innovation Awards 2015. They have also received first place in the UK EIA 2017 in the Losses competition for having a significant impact on improving losses on the electricity distribution network. TPS’ innovative converters were installed in multiple sites across London and Brighton.
Low Carbon Networks and Innovation Conference (LCNI) 2017
Now in its seventh year, LCNI is dedicated to showcasing innovative engineering work taking place across the networks to deliver a brighter future for the UK energy sector. Taking place at the International Centre Telford between 6-7 December 2017, the conference and exhibition will explore key learnings from electricity and gas network innovation projects, and will also provide project-focused presentations, keynote speeches, and multiple workshop sessions.
