Pneumofore attended the presentation of Eng. Daniel Hilfiker, CEO, at the Annual Global Forum, which was held in Berlin on 23-25 September.
Hilfiker’s presentation related to drying pipelines with the innovative Pneumofore vacuum pumps of the UV H series, which was mainly aimed at the audience for non-piggable pipeline systems, especially those requiring a variation of diameters.
The reduced footprint of the drying equipment is particularly appreciated on offshore platforms. Here, saline-proof painted machines with ATEX Zone 1 certificates are installed.
The event saw large participation from European national bureau resources dedicated to pipeline integrity supervision, with often dated and problematic gas pipeline systems.
Overall, an interesting and well-organised event.
