EDF Energy Renewables (EDF ER) will be developing the onshore Dorenell wind farm in Scotland, along with Infinergy, which is expected to have a power generation capacity of up to 177MW.
The power plant, which will be built near Dufftown in Moray, will be equipped with 59 wind turbines.

By GlobalDataInfinergy had prepared the site for the project and secured approval for the development from Scottish Ministers in December 2011.
The project is expected to be redesigned to have 200MW capacity, for which application has been submitted to the government.
The wind farm has been scheduled to connect to the grid in 2018.
Once commissioned, the project, which is claimed to be the one of the one of the largest planned onshore projects in the country, will be able to meet the energy requirements of up to 138,000 homes.
EDF Energy chief executive Vincent de Rivaz said: "Today’s announcement, just weeks before the international conference on climate change in Paris, confirms EDF Energy’s commitment to lead UK investment in low carbon electricity.
"That means investment in wind and nuclear electricity generation with an increasing focus on the development of Scottish renewables.
"In taking on the development of the largest planned onshore wind project in Scotland, we intend to boost its output using our world-leading research and development expertise.
"This expertise is dedicated to building a low-carbon future in the UK and covers activities from electricity generation to energy efficiency in customers’ homes and workplaces."
