Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2010.
Contractors Involved
Renewable Energy Systems Canada was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 43 units of SWT-2.3-101 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 5 years.
