The project was developed by Unit International. Unit Investment and Ansaldo Energia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from BOTAS gas national network.

Contractors Involved

Ansaldo Energia and Yeni Aen Insaat Anonim Sirketi were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of AE94.3A gas turbines, each with 294MW nameplate capacity.

Ansaldo Energia was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of RT30 steam turbine with 277MW nameplate capacity.

Ansaldo Energia supplied TRX-L56 electric generator for the project.

STF supplied steam boiler for the project.

ESB International is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
