The project generates 244,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $158.8m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Korea Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.112 for a period of 15.00 years, starting from 2005.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 49 units of V80-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
