Firefly Offshore Wind Project is an 800MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Sea of Japan, Ulsan, South Korea. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2025 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026.

The project is being developed by Equinor.

The project cost is expected to be around $2,760.4m. The project will be spread over an area of 150km². The turbines will be mounted on a floating semi-submersible foundation.

Development Status
