In order to protect the solar photovoltaic (PV) panels industry from the Covid-19 pandemic, Switzerland is set to increase financial funding by another $47m, according to a GlobalData report.
Under the country’s solar PV rebate scheme, funds available for solar PV project will now amount to $387.6m.

GlobalData senior power analyst Somik Das said: “The extra funding will not only expand the rebate budget, helping authorities to maintain the guaranteed coverage against investment cost but also help reduce the waiting time for payments.”
