Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Ajlan Bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan & Brothers, Aljomaih Energy & Water, Bohoor International Investment and Electricite de France. The owners have 25% stake in the project respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
