Texaco HDAX 9500 SAE 40 a high performance extended drain gas engine oil, developed to help customers achieve a longer engine life.
Texaco HDAX 9500 SAE 40 is specifically designed for landfill, biogas, digester gas and sour gas applications, and features a well-balanced formulation to provide extended oil drain intervals which help to reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs.
The new Texaco HDAX 9500 SAE 40 product aids in the control of carbon formation and varnish deposits, with good anti-wear and anti-scuff performance, each designed to extend engine life resulting in more uptime and profitability.
With more than 50 years’ experience in the development and production of gas engine oils, HDAX products are well positioned to answer the significant challenges faced by today’s industry.
Paul Sly, Global Industrial OEM Specialist, at Texaco Lubricants, said, “Texaco HDAX 9500 has been formulated to provide advanced deposit, wear, base retention, oxidation and nitration control in high-output 4-cycle natural gas engines operating on Landfill or Digester gas.
“This premium package can extend oil drain intervals while helping minimize the negative effects of ash deposits on sensitive engine components. Reduced ash deposits will help to maintain the power output of high BMEP engines equipped with knock sensors in particular. HDAX 9500 is designed to provide protection against the corrosive effects of acids commonly found in Landfill and Digester gas while extending oil drain intervals through enhanced base retention characteristics.”
Texaco HDAX 9500 has a number of manufacturer approvals, including from INNIO Jenbacher TA 1000-1109, Fuel Class B (biogas, sewage gas) and Class C (landfill gas) for the following engine types and versions:
Type 2 and 3
Type 4 versions A and B
Type 6 versions C and E
