China-based solar cell and module manufacturer Solar N Plus New Energy Technology has secured a 500MW supply order for its high-efficiency N-type solar products for the overseas market.
The agreement underscores Solar N Plus' growing influence in the renewable energy sector, as it continues to deliver advanced photovoltaic solutions to meet international demand.
Solar N Plus is renowned for its N-type technology which offers advantages including higher conversion efficiency and superior resistance to light-induced degradation (LID) and potential-induced degradation (PID).
These features ensure long-term reliability and enhanced energy yield, supporting the growth of the photovoltaic industry and promoting the transition to clean energy.
Solar N Plus vice-president Ashley Wang stated: "We are thrilled to partner with outstanding local collaborators to deliver cutting-edge PV products that accelerate technological progress.
"As a leader in photovoltaic technology, Solar N Plus has earned global recognition for its excellence in product quality, efficiency, production scale, and research and development capabilities."
Solar N Plus showcased its latest N-type TOPCon modules at the Solar & Storage Live 2024 KSA event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 15 October and 16 October 2024.
The 132-cell module with a 720W output and the 144-cell module with a 600W output both feature advanced TOPCon cell technology, and half-cell and dual-glass technology, offering exceptional performance, particularly in desert conditions.
In early December 2024, Solar N Plus also received top after-service recognition from the Thaibond Certification Organization, authorised by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
This accolade followed comprehensive evaluation across multiple aspects of the company's operations.
Solar N Plus’ manufacturing base for the N-type solar products is located in Chuzhou, China.
The 170,000m² intelligent, automated factory is powered by eco-friendly practices and features an advanced N-type cell production line with real-time AI monitoring and a rigorous 13-step quality control process.
