Solar inverter manufacturer Deye has launched the AE-F(S)2.0-2H2 Micro Hybrid energy storage system (ESS).
The all-in-one “game-changing” system combines an energy storage micro-inverter, battery modules and a battery management system in a single compact unit.
The Micro Hybrid ESS is engineered for seamless integration into home and outdoor activities, providing 24/7 intelligent monitoring and power management via Lora smart communication and an “easy-to-use” app monitoring interface.
With a lifespan of 6,000 cycles, the system is built to last for ten years.
The minimalist design of the Micro Hybrid ESS offers a plug-and-play functionality, featuring multiple output ports to cater to the energy demands of various devices. It is equipped with two maximum power point trackings and a high PV power input of 1.6kW, compatible with 99% of photovoltaic panels available.
For high-performance needs, the system has a 2 kilowatt hours (kWh) LFP [lithium iron phosphate] battery that can be expanded up to 10kWh.
The fanless design ensures ultra-low noise, making it suitable for both residential and outdoor use.
The Micro Hybrid ESS operates in three modes, Green Power Mode, Time-of-Use Mode and Full Charge Mode, each designed to optimise energy consumption and provide backup power.
The AC coupling function of the Micro Hybrid ESS allows for easy upgrades to existing balcony micro-inverter systems, ensuring no energy waste.
It also supports the Deye Smart IoT [internet of things] System, which can be enhanced with a Deye Wireless Smart CT for zero export and a Deye Smart Plug for intelligent control of home power equipment.
It is compact, taking up less than 1/4m². It is built to withstand extreme weather conditions between 10°C and 50°C, with an IP65 rating.
