Vestas has secured new contracts totalling 134MW for wind turbine projects in Europe as part of its fourth quarter 2024 order intake.

In Italy, the company received a 26MW order from Alerion San Marco for the Valico Casone Cocca. The project will deploy three V150- 6.0 MW and two V117-4.2 MW turbine variants.

The contract includes a ten-year active output management (AOM) 4000 service agreement.

Delivery is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning in the first quarter of 2026.

In Spain, Vestas secured a 50MW contract from an undisclosed customer for a project. The project will utilise 11 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines and includes a ten-year AOM 4000 service agreement.

Delivery is expected in the third quarter of 2025, and commissioning is planned for Q1 2026.

In France, the company signed a contract with an undisclosed customer to supply ten V136-3.45 MW turbines in 3MW power mode and ten V126-3.45 MW turbines in 3.6MW power mode for a 59MW project. The deal includes a 25-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

Delivery and commissioning are expected in 2026.

In December 2024, Vestas secured contracts totalling 225MW for wind turbine projects in the US, Germany and New Zealand as part of its fourth quarter order intake.

In the US, the company received an 86MW order from Brookfield Renewable for the Mulqueeney project. The project will deploy the V163-4.5MW turbine variant and comes with a ten-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

The company also obtained an order for the 1.1GW Inch Cape offshore wind project in Scotland from Inch Cape Offshore, a joint venture between ESB and Red Rock Renewables.

The agreement includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 72 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines.
