Renewable energy technologies company TMEIC Corporation Americas, a subsidiary of TMEIC Corporation (Japan), has announced that its state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) inverter manufacturing facility in Brookshire, Waller County, Texas has achieved full production.

The 144,000ft² Westport facility has surpassed its initial production targets, manufacturing more than 300 utility-scale PV inverters since its commencement in November 2024.

The facility is located near TMEIC’s existing uninterruptible power supply and medium voltage drive manufacturing plant in Katy, Texas.

The company will relocate its headquarters from Roanoke, Virginia to Houston, Texas in March 2025, aligning with its growth strategy in renewable energy and domestic manufacturing.  

The Houston headquarters will support innovation, accommodate team expansion and enhance client service.

TMEIC has installed more than 50GW of renewable energy systems worldwide, with 28GW in North America since entering that market in 2010.
