UK-based software provider UD Group has received a contract from European energy retailer Gazprom Energy, which will join several large energy suppliers.
Headquartered in Manchester, UD Group will deliver its latest software to the suppliers in order to help strengthen client growth.
UD Group managing director Steve Armitage said: "With a number of the big six energy providers utilising our technology, it’s extremely encouraging to see a market leader in the business energy sector recognising UD Group’s capabilities as we begin to enter new international markets.
"Our software will enable Gazprom Energy to provide a seamless acquisition journey for both consumers and brokers."
Gazprom Energy serves more than 30,000 industrial and commercial customers across Europe.
Its commercial and operations director Mark Eccles said: "Working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) through to corporates and brokers, we are always looking for ways to improve how we attract and interact with our customers.

The software provides brokers, asset managers, and energy suppliers an intuitive and user-friendly data management system.
