Power electronics technology provider Empower Micro Systems has unveiled its latest and advanced Genesys 8K modular smart home energy platform developed for residential unified solar + energy storage deployments.
The company is licensing the technology to inverter, photovoltaic (PV) module, and lithium-ion battery module manufacturers worldwide to gain traction in the growing residential smart energy sector.
The easy-to-install Empower platform requires two components or stock keeping units (SKU) for residential deployments. These include module-level fractal Inverter 8K PowerBridge and the 8K PowerHub, which serves as a smart energy combiner.
The Genesys 8K modular technology is claimed to offer best-in-class efficiency, instrumentation-grade power quality, and unmatched reliability. The flexible and streamlined architecture of the unit helps reduce distributor inventory and logistics costs, while speeding up installers’ transactional velocity.
Empower Micro Systems' chief executive officer (CEO) Mika Nuotio said: “The next era of smart home energy convergence is here and it’s ready for primetime.
“We are confident that our reputation for state-of-the-art power electronics technology is well reflected in our Genesys 8K modular smart home energy platform and we’re excited to enable our customers to deliver a better solar + storage experience to homeowners.
