Alstom Grid has launched its MiCOM P40 Agile intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), designed to protect substations, at power and electricity industry exhibition Elecrama in Mumbai, India.
Alstom’s president Grégoire Poux-Guillaume said the devices will respond to the next generation of digital substations.
"With this new product, we further strengthen our leadership in offering advanced technological solutions for future transmission needs," said Poux-Guillaume, who has been named as global brand ambassador of the event.
In addition to the substation relay, Alstom will present its MiCOM S1 Agile, the universal PC tool suite for the entire MiCOM protection range.
These new products are set to provide an integrated feeder management solution for protection, control and monitoring of electrical power systems.
The company will also present its full range of products, services and integrated energy management solutions for improving national network efficiency.
