LONGi Green Energy Technology (LONGi) has solidified its partnership with Energy 3000 Solar (Energy 3000) with a strategic cooperation agreement to supply an additional 100MW of its advanced Hi-MO X10 modules.

The signing ceremony, held at LONGi’s Xi’an headquarters, was attended by executives from both companies.

Energy 3000 vice-president Michael Bairhuber and LONGi distributed generation business group president Jiang Dongyu signed the agreement.

LONGi Western Europe Representative Office of European Business Centre general manager Li Xiaopeng, Energy 3000 supply chain director Guo Wenqi and LONGi chairman Zhong Baoshen also took part in the signing ceremony.

Their strategic co-operation follows a previous 1.5GW framework agreement and underscores the companies’ commitment to enhance the presence of high-value HPBC2.0 products in the European market.

The Hi-MO X10 module utilises HPBC 2.0 cell technology and high-quality TaiRay wafers, offering superior power generation performance, reliability and aesthetics.

The module’s maximum mass production power reaches 670W, outperforming TOPCon modules by more than 30W in the same area, with an efficiency of up to 24.8%.

This technology maximises the power generation potential of limited installation areas, offering customers higher capacity and output, increasing power generation revenue.

Founded in 2007, Energy 3000 specialises in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage.

The company focuses on technology research and development and project development in renewable energy, with expertise in project design, planning, and distributed power stations for residential and commercial enterprises, as well as large-scale power station solutions.

LONGi, a green energy technology company founded in 2000, is recognised for its high-performance and reliable solar modules.

In March 2024, LONGi announced plans to shed one-third of its workforce to cut costs amid industry overcapacity and intense competition.

This followed a 44% drop in profits and previous job cuts made in November 2023.
