E2E Energy Solutions has partnered with Novus Earth to develop a geothermal energy project near Hinton, Alberta, Canada.
Construction on the project, called Latitude 53 Hinton, will commence in early 2025.
It aims to harness geothermal energy for sustainable agriculture and clean power generation.
The project is a two-phase endeavour with the first phase focusing on geothermal energy for year-round strawberry cultivation in a 20-acre greenhouse.
The facility will benefit from up to 50 gigajoules of heat per hour, thanks to E2E’s technology.
The second phase involves E2E’s enhanced geothermal reservoir recovery system (EGRRS) to produce 10MW of zero-emission electricity.
