Description
China Huadian Power Generation, Yunnan ProvIncial Power Investment and Yunnan Dongyuan Coal Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 62%, 35% and 3% respectively.
It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Zhaotong City Anthracite.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2012.

Contractors Involved
China Huadian Engineering, PowerChina Nuclear Engineering and Yunnan Yuxi Electric Power Design Institute were selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.
Harbin Electric was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.
Harbin Electric supplied electric generator for the project.
Harbin Electric supplied steam boiler for the project.
