Description

The project is developed and owned by Calpine Mid Merit. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel Oil.

The project cost is $800m.

McDermott International was selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.

The Dual-Fuel fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.

Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions supplied electric generator for the project.

BHI supplied steam boiler for the project.
