Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to BC Hydro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years from 2008. The contracted capacity is 66MW.

Contractors Involved

The steam turbines for the biopower project have been supplied by BWXT Canada and GE Power.

Dresser-Rand Group supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 950Degree Fahrenheit. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 1,550psig.
