Description
The project is currently owned by NTPC with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Heavy Fuel Oil, Light Diesel Oil. The fuel is procured from North Karanpura Coal Fields.
The project generated 7,622,000MWh of electricity.
