Ujh is a 196MW hydro power project. It is planned on Ujh river/basin in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development.

The gross head and net head of the project will be 150m and 100m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 3 in number. The penstock diameter will be 4m. The project is expected to generate 295.38 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $842.411m.

Ujh (Main Power house) consists of 3 units of francis turbines with 62MW nameplate capacity.
