Ubungo II Substation is a 400kV substation located in Ubungo, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Ubungo II Substation project’s construction is expected to begin in 2032. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2035.

Description

Ubungo II Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Tanzania Electric Supply.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400kV and the operating voltage level is 400kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 1000MVA.
