Thuong kon tum is a 220MW hydro power project. It is located on Dak Nghe/Se San river/basin in Kon Tum, Vietnam. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2009 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2021.

Description

The project is developed and owned by Vietnam Electricity and Vinh Son – Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock. Vietnam Electricity has 30% stake in the project.

The gross head and net head of the project are 879m and 844m respectively. The project generated 850 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $310.946m.

The nameplate capacity of electric generator(s) installed at the site is 129.41 MVA.
