Description

The project is being developed by Tamworth Solar Farm and is currently owned by Oriens Energy.

Tamworth Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 230 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 155,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 30,000 households. The project is expected to offset 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $76.8m.

The solar power project consists of 210,000 modules.
