The project was developed by Clenera, Energy of Utah and Sweetwater Solar. The project is currently owned by Sweetwater Solar.
Sweetwater Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 703 acres.
The project generates 186,575MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,000 households, offsetting 44,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $157.719m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Rocky Mountain Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Swinerton Renewable Energy was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Hanwha Q CELLS was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 250,000 modules at the site.
Sungrow Power Supply supplied 30 of its 1500 Vdc inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
Sweetwater Solar and Swinerton Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
