Description
The project was developed by Nordkraft Vind and Sorfjord Vindpark. Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners and Fortum are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
The project generates 325GWh of electricity. The project cost is $181.701m.

Contractors Involved
Sorfjord Vindpark (Sorfjord Vindpark – Phase I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-4.2-130 turbines. The phase consists of 9 turbines with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
Sorfjord Vindpark (Sorfjord Vindpark – Phase II) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-4.2-130 turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 5 years.
