Description
The project was developed by Enel Green Power del Sur and is currently owned by Enel Green Power Chile with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 295,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 130,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $215m.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 56 units of G114-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
