Description

The project is co-owned by Capital Power and Enmax Green power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

The project cost is $1,400m.

Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell and Kiewit Energy were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 320MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of M501G1 – 60Hz gas turbines, each with 240MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Vogt Power International supplied steam boiler for the project.
