Description

Uniper and Saale Energie are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 58.1% and 41.9% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The fuel is procured from MIBRAG Profen Mine.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in September 1995.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Deutsche Bahn under a power purchase agreement.

Schkopau Power Station (Schkopau Power Station Unit II) is equipped with GE Power steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 450MW nameplate capacity.

Steinmuller Engineering supplied steam boiler for the project.
