The project is being developed by Elsewedy Electric T&D and Kenergy Renewables. The project is currently owned by Kenergy Renewables with a stake of 100%.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Kenya Power and Lighting under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.08kWh for a period of 20 years. The capacity to be procured is 40MW.
